Speed Daddy rads
Has anyone bought and used a Speed Daddy rad that would have been purchased on Ebay? I ran across a 3 core aluminum for under $200 but thought I'd ask you guys if anyone has taken the leap and tried one. The 2 core one I ran last year just doesn't cool enough

Re: Speed Daddy rads
Never heard of them, but with feedback like that, and a "no hassle" return policy... I'd say give it a shot.

Re: Speed Daddy rads
I ordered a header for a civic from them a few years back. It was exactly as described and fit awesome. Since it is stainless it still looks great today and was less than $50 to my door.

Re: Speed Daddy rads
we manage to get a day or 2 during the year that gets over 80 hahahaha
I have a re-cored rad from a 65 Chevelle that I'm running right now but even with an 18" electric fan on it, I can't get the temperature below 200. After going through the entire thing, I've come to the conclusion that it's the rad and for $200, it seems like a good deal

After going through the entire thing, (snip_) Hi, I had a problem like that once, put in a warmer thermostat, and it ran at that temp. Coolant needs to stay in the radiator long enough to cool down, if it circulates too quickly it cannot. Just a thought - you probably already had it too - Don |

Re: Speed Daddy rads
Google Speed Daddy radiator reviews if you haven' t already done so. A batch of mixed reviews.
