66 suburban 4x4 found
so i was looking to no avail for the fore mentioned vehicle, thks for all the help to the forum members btw. ok back to my burban after 2 failed attemps any a few maybes i saw one one ebay and thought is it possible naw 66 burban 4x4 all 3 rows and 4 sliders with the locks!!! but man what a gamble to bid and someone else "buy it now" so i put a bid in and watched a few day showed my girlfriend cuz she inspired this purchase for our road trips and camping excursion and such, anyway i placed another higher max bid and went on this classifcation 60-66 suburban and read many threads and their finds and respective build all the while getting much support and help from forum members. so i came to the realization that this "IS" the burban for us. once i got more info on the vehicle and the info i needed on shipping to the US since its coming from Canada. i asked my girlfriend her opinion on pulling the trigger and not bitting my nails waiting for the aution to end, once she said go i gave it one more night, read more and said (F) it and went ahead with the "buy it now" price!!! so now its ours and just gotta wait for it to be shipped and we can start enjoying it. thats after i clean and see whats what and add all the nice bits i been stashing for it like A/C and power brake booster now i just gotta figure the P/S out and its all we want and need. again thank you everyone!!!! ps pictures to follow

Re: 66 suburban 4x4 found
Nice. BTW, I think you had an unfortunate spelling accident in post three--I don't think Corktown is spelled with two c's...

Re: 66 suburban 4x4 found
oh yeah plenty, paid the shipping fee $910 yesterday, sent the contract back. found out the registration only has partial vin 626910A. instead of 6K1506626910A, so the owners is going back to explain and take a pic of the vin so they get it correct. the shipping co. was gonna try to bring it over on just the bill of sale and if asked to produce the registration they would. that was before the owner said they would go back to the Quebec office and get it str. and funny thing he only speaks French so i been talkin to his girlfriend, really nice people sharing life stories and all. their mayor died from a bee string so the service was yesterday, so they will go on monday to the office, and i will send a preprinted BOS to have it Notorized so i do have any issues. so its gettin rollin hopfully 7-14 days it will be in the good o u.s of a!!! btw LT1burb said even with that vin i should be fine but cant mess around with customs or the dmv. my international. phone bill will be crazy im sure...
