Extended cab pickups

What years of these trucks had extended cabs but the passenger rear doors did not open?

Re: Extended cab pickups

From 88 to at least 97 the extended cabs were available with only 2 front doors. Those are sometimes called club cabs. Having had a 97 extended cab with only the front doors I can say if you use the rear seating often you will want to find a cab with the 3rd door for ease of entry/exit.

Re: Extended cab pickups

I'm assuming since he asked this in the 99-06 section, he is asking which trucks have all 4 doors instead of 3.. The early trucks were only 3, 1999, 2000, and 2001? I am not 100% sure what year they went to 4 doors, could be 02 or 03 even..

Also to add, 97 was optional 3rd door? Or it came on Z71's only or something, I had 2 97's one with 3 doors one with 2. Pretty sure all 98's had em except the 2500's

Re: Extended cab pickups

I am looking for what year to pull a seat from. Extended cab pickups with no rear doors the passenger seat moves more to allow rear access. Putting this in a 65 burb. 99 and newer i believe have the shoulder seat belts built into the seat which is why i asked in this section.

Re: Extended cab pickups

I hope I can help, I have 2, 2002 extended cab Chevrolet Silverados and they both have 4 doors. My son in law has a 2001 and it also has 4 doors. I bought a 1999 Silverado new and it only had 3 doors. And I am pretty sure the 2000 will only have 3 doors.

This is correct. 1999 & 2000 extended cab GMT-800s were 3-door trucks.

Someone mentioned the GMT-400 extended cabs, their 3rd door became an OPTION in 1996 on 1500s ONLY, but it was never standard.
