Howdy Chevy Boy's!!,,,,,,i'm looking for a part for a 72 chev,307,v8,,,,i need the little rod for the choke,that go's down to the bottom part,,,i think it looks like a "C",,,I don't have one,,,and when i drive the truck she go's,,,,VVVVRRRRRROOOOOOOMMMMM....then i have to kick er' down,,,sometimes when i put my foot on the gas,,,it feels stiff,,then i have to kick er' down to get goin',,,that's why i need the carburetor part,,Sure would like to find one,,,Dave

carburetor part needed
OHHH by the way,,the carb #'s are 7042105 on top and 09521m1 on the bottom,,,,these #'s are one on top of the other,,,Thanx Guy's !!!!

I have no idea what you ar talking about, but you can look here. They have diagrams so you will at least find out the name of what you are looking for.

If you are talking about the little rod that goes from the choke assembly on carb to coil loaded therm on the intake. You will have to find and old one or by a repo choke kit. I couldn't get one from any truck suppliers got my from Ricks first generation camaro. Or take a piece of stiff wire and make one

Are we talking about a quadrajet for the 307? That looks like a Rochester number. It's not 2bbl is it?
Either way MJF pointed you to a good source. I use Carburetors Unlimited for everything when it comes to old carburetors.
