Quick 4L60E Question

I have an oppurtunity to buy a wrecked 97' Silverado. I haven't gotten all the info yet but assuming that that it is a 4L60E tranny is there much difference in installing one of these instead inplace of a 700R4. Any info would be great.

it's electronically controlled. you would have to buy a stand alone computer to run that tranny.

Swap the entire motor tranny combo over with harness & computer and use a 4L60E Tail Housing Kit for your mechanical speedo.
You can get the kit here
