temporary mirrors when towing
My toy hauler is hooked up. But the mirrors I have now (which I like when not towing) dont work to well while towing a wide trailer. I included pics of my current mirrors.
Anybody know of some temporary mirrors that I could clip on or attach to my current mirrors so I can get a good view behind me? I want something I can keep in the trailer and then just put on when im towing. paul |

Re: temporary mirrors when towing
Maybe fender mount mirrors like these? You can get them on ebay.

Re: temporary mirrors when towing
I run something similar to those when towing my TT. My dad had them on a Ford Galaxy back in the day. They work great hanging off the door of my Burb.
Just curious as to your towing setup as Im always trying to improve mine. Rear coils, leafs, airbags, or both? Rear sway? Thanx-Brian

I have a 1970 c20 with a 350 and 3 speed automatic and a 4.10 rear end. Pulls good but not excellent. Cajon pass was a slow difficult climb. Motor was working overtime for sure. Getting 7mpg towing. But only 10mpg with no load. I have a weight distributing hitch that really helps level everything out. I highly recommend that. My trailer loaded comes in around 4700 to 5000lbs. Not much really compaired to what I see a lot of people pulling around. Paul Paul |

Also, my c20 has heavy duty springs in the front and overload springs in the rear. No air bags yet.
