what needs to be done to fit 22x14 in a 93 c1500

Trying to figure out the process in fitting these wide wheels....I know the rear end needs to be shortened but how much....or how much would I need to narrow it if I got a ford 9 to put in....also know it needs to be tubbed and the springs need to be located....please any info would help a whole lot

your best bet is to pick your tires and get them mounted. Then remove the rear end and set the tires and wheels in place and start measuring. I would be willing to bet that is the only way you will get the answers you need to succeed in fitting those in there. All measurements depend on tire height, width and wheel back spacing. It would be terrible to run with someones measurements and then find out your application is different.
