Drop Spindles #
Hello, I have bagged my 72 1/2 ton suburban and would like to add drop spindles.
Do anyone have a product # for a set of 2 or 2.5 inch spindles that does not require changing ball joints or other parts? DJM or Western is what I would like to use. Thanks for the response. |

Re: Drop Spindles #
For a direct bolt on spindle, make sure you get a 71-72 specific spindle.
The board Vendors should be able to help you. Otherwise look at Summit Racing.

Re: Drop Spindles #
So I guess that the 2" drop spindles will be the safest way to go with my wheels. 15x7 fronts and 15x8 rears.
Thanks again. |

There are 2 different brackets. One for 12" rotors (stock), and one for their larger 13" rotors when you use CPP's "Big Brake" kit. This one is for the 12" rotor. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cl...del/c10-pickup Personally I would just run a 2.5" drop spindle with the built-in /cast-in caliper bracket. Belltech, Western Chassis, McGaughy's or Early Classic Enterprises would be my choice.

Re: Drop Spindles #
Thanks, it's has bags from AVS, 2" rear blocks from Boris, 2.5 drop spindles, 450C Vaiar compressor with a 4 path Analog System setup. The picture isn't completly aired out, but I will be adding a c-notch soon and removing the rear bags hats.
It also has front and rear swaybars. Just a simple set for a better ride. |
