Steering wheel, column, and clutch pedal help

How exactly do you pull the steering wheel off, is there a special tool I need or what? If there is what's it called and can I get it from a local part store, an has anyone had any luck filling the cracks in your steering wheel with bondo or something like that, mines pretty bad shape but it's salvageable. And the clutch pedal assembly, is there any certain way the whole thing comes out easy, and also the three on the tree collar, someone said you can grind the area down where the shifter goes and make it smooth and maybe bondo it, has anybody had any luck with doing this, thanks everybody

It's called a steering wheel puller!!

Just disconnect the battery, pop off the horn button, and remove the large nut.The puller uses three bolts into the wheel and a large center bolt to pull it off. Very simple, you'll see.

There are threads on re-doing steering wheels, so yes it is possible.

Can't help on the clutch, as I've only had autos in these trucks.

just pull really hard and shake and wiggle and dont hit yourself in the nose with the wheel when it finally breaks free.

search the site for steering wheel repair. there are a few good threads using jb weld or something to restore them. Looks like a ton of work though. but then steering wheels arent cheap either.

I have a harmonic balancer puller that I use to pull my steering wheel.

Okay thanks guys, jointtech- that's what I'm saying, like 300 and some odd dollars in LMC, also my dad has a steering wheel puller..... Should've asked him first I guess, I have the whole column hanging loose but the three speed shift levers won't go through the fire wall, obviously. My question is how do you get them off? Somebody please help me, thanks for your input guys

should be some cotter pin located in engine compartment at base of column. remove those and slide out the linkage. you also need to disconnect the lower column support and bracket inside engine bay. after all that you can slide column out into cab, may need to twist it a little to get through hole.
