Brake power booster

I was driving home on Saturday and coming to a stop signal i hear this sound(like static on the radio), so i figured it to be the power booster. Is there any kind of secerts about replacing it i should know about. It's on a 1998 c1500 silverado w/5.0 L , and auto.

Re: Brake power booster

That retaining clip on the brake pedal where the pushrod hooks up is really hard to get to and available at the gm dealer. Do yourself a favor and pickup a new clip before you start on it.
