Offset Camber Upper Shaft Source???
I went to have my front end aligned today, and the guy couldn't get the left hand side all the way into alignment. It still has a 1.8* positive camber. The mechanic suggested getting a negative 1.5* camber upper control arm shaft.
I can't seem to find these for our trucks, only for A-body cars and Corvettes. Maybe those would fit, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know of a source for these parts or have suggestions for different parts instead? Thanks in advance. |

They don't make such a shaft, all the replacement shafts are the same design. You would have to get an aftermarket upper a-arm that is adjustable, maybe AIM has them. If your slamming the front, thats one of the problems you run into. If it's stock, them take it to another mech. I just put a new front end on mine, shafts/arms/joints/ect.ect. The guy at the alinment shop had no problem setting me up.

Sorry for the confusion, I apparently hid my sig in that post. I have a 72 GMC 2x4. We'll see if my sig appears this time.
Thanks for the help, I'll have to see if those part numbers will fit.
