Hey from Germany

Hello

just an introduction to the whole board

I am 47 Years old, living in Koblenz/Rhine
My business is US-Motors and Carburetors plus parts and tool (Craftsman)

I am in this business since years and no i plan to build me a Shop-Truck

I found a 70 GMC Panel Wreck in South of Germany...that was my Choice...

But 2 weeks ago i found a 59 GMC Panel Truck.....no i have the choice of two but money for one

What i wanna build is a Highway-Tow-Cruiser.....so i think i will stay with the 70..Plan is a 307 Chevy with a 305 TPI in Combination with a TH700...and all Extras I need like AC, Power Sterring, Windows, Recaro-Seats, Stereo and and all so on

Running on LPG the car should make a great MPG.....

But...before the cruise thereīs the work...hope i can start soon...miss a lot of parts for the car

So....if anybody needīs a Motor....I have nearly all you can wish...Specialized in Ford FE, but GM stands here also or Moparīs up to a 331 Hemi

Volker

Re: Hey from Germany

Another Kansas Welcome for you. Great looking projects. Spent some time in your country courtesy of my Uncle Sam (US military) in early 1968 to early 1969. Stationed about 25 clicks NE of Frankfurt. He then gave me a free all expenses paid vacation to SE Asia, much preferred your beautiful country and your BEER is most excellant !

Re: Hey from Germany

Welcome to the site Volker. Either one will make a great project. I was your neighbor for a few years. Lived in Vienna, Austria. We ventured up your way a few times.
