62 wiper linkage Mystery
My 62 came missing a few things. Most I figured out. But the wiper linkage I can't grasp. Can any one snap a picture or two of the set up, and maybe measure the linkage rods and post. There must be something I'm missing. Or I got the wrong linkage arms(too long). Thank you

Ok, Is there a link with a exploded view? Parts diagram? I can't find anything. The wiper motor went in like butter, now I'm stuck.

Re: 62 wiper linkage Mystery
Hope this helps, I believe the drivers side linkage is installed on the motor first. Before you install the arms, run the motor for a bit. then turn them off, that returns the motor to the rest position.

Re: 62 wiper linkage Mystery
wiper motor arm? It looks simple enough to make If I had something to go off. I'm buying if anybody is selling. I also would take a ash tray.

Re: 62 wiper linkage Mystery
Hi All,
I am putting my new wiper motor in and just want to know if the link that attaches to the motor should point to the driver's side or passenger? Looks like from the pic above that it points to the driver's when in park. Does it make a difference? Thanks, |
