1961 Apache20 Motorhome
A guy moved in down the street from me and parked his motorhome out front with a for sale sign on it, so I decided to get nosey. I went down and talked with him today and snapped some pictures. 283 with factory barrel shroud, 3 on the tree, deluxe heater, custom comfort seat, original rubber mat, no rust. The 10' box was made by Royal Coach Manufacturing in Santa Rosa. According to a rep. Ser#88992 means it was the 2nd box produced in 1961. It's a pretty cool time capsule. Enjoy!

Re: 1961 Apache20 Motorhome
is Oregon the 60-66 chevy truck capital of the world? dont get me wrong, i love it!!! i live in the motorcity and i cant find a good one close for nothin, what gives? maybe its double edge sword. we make the cars and trucks for the world and forget about the older one. then when someone like me tries to find the older ones their all gone cuz the new ones crowd them out... i just venting about never seeing cool truck randomly, at least i have this forum, but it would be nice to kick it with a daily driver of one now and again...

Re: 1961 Apache20 Motorhome
He said he was looking to get $3700 for it. I don't know how long he's been trying to sell.

Re: 1961 Apache20 Motorhome
That's a nice truck! I think 3700 is a fair price.

Re: 1961 Apache20 Motorhome
i'd be happy to give around $3,300 for it. I'd love to find one of those closer to home.

Re: 1961 Apache20 Motorhome
Wow good eye. I didn't even see it lurking back there. Can't see it but the 'burb is in my driveway across the street. It's like I'm running my own classic lot. Sorry pimpston.

Re: 1961 Apache20 Motorhome
It's not quite my cup of tea. But it is in excellent condition. Previous owners have obviously cared for it.
