brakes, disc front, drum rear
This is going to sound idiotic but can someone please give me the low down on a brake line system? I got a 64 c10 with the disc/drum conversion already on it but there are no brake lines at all therefore I gotta run them. I bought a 25ft roll of 3 1/6 brake line. as far as the fittings go, I got all of that around the shop. what I need info is this: what side of the master is for the rear brakes? ( smaller res. or bigger ) and 2, what truck/car can I get the proportioning valve from. does it matter if it is from a truck or a car?. Hell, I can go to the junk yard and grab one off another truck/car as long as it does not have the stupid ass power assist right? or if you got a part number for one I can go to the local parts store and just buy one. I dont need a adjustable one from willwood just a regular stock proportioning valve. any info here would be great. thanks for taking the time to read my problem.
I gotta get this thing on the road for some BAD ASS SUMMER FUN! It is the twin turbo truck posted elseware so I can see loosing my license is in the future LOL Soda (nickname long and inappropriate story for the site) |

Re: brakes, disc front, drum rear
small res = rear
large res = front any prop valve from a mid 70's GM truck should work. someone can correct me if i'm wrong. |
