I think I wanna bag my 66 Custom Camper
Relax, it's not what you think. Lol. The cool vintage slide-in camper unit I picked up for my survivor 66 C20 is really heavy, and the truck needs some help with the load when it's on there. Anybody got experience with adding some air bags for extra load carrying on a coil spring C20? Hopefully I can do this simply, without invasive surgery. The main goal is provide help with the weight only when it needs it, as the camper will only be on there part-time. Any recommendations or brand preference for off the shelf kits, or suggestions that will make it easier? Thanks for any input.

Oh, I just now read past the title, never-mind.
Good luck, anyway.

I'm somewhat biased as these guys are local to me, but give them a try. Anyone I know local that tows or carries a load uses their products.

oe...,
I hadn't been around for a bit.....but when I saw your post.....I was sure it had been waaaay too long. Firestone makes great air-ride kits for your truck. And you could have them install it for you....They'll make sure to plumb them correctly, and you might even see some cool retro cab controls or something in their catalog. Just do the ol' "look em in the eye" and give em the ol' pre-touch interview so they understand what they're working on and put the right Tech. on it. Driller
