Grille Swap: 79 to a 73-74

I have a 79 short bed C10 in the body shop now and I wanted to switch the grille out for a 73-74 grille but I have a few questions.

First, what all do I need? Grille, trim and moldings, headlight bezels, brackets, anything else?

Second, I know the biggest difference between the two is the 79 has the marker lights incorporated into the trim but the 73-74 does not. Since my truck is getting painted soon should I switch the grilles before it gets painted? Are there parts of the front of the truck that will be exposed after I switch grilles?

Third, where is the best place to find the parts? The bigger pieces I was hoping to pull off a parts truck but so far I'm having trouble finding one. The smaller, cheaper pieces I figured I would order new from LMC. I'm new to the forum so I'm not allowed to post in the classifieds yet but if anyone knows where I can get the parts I need I would really appreciate it.

I tried but all I could find was information on 75-78 grille swaps. Maybe I'm not searching right but I couldn't find any 79 specific swaps.

This is very helpful, thank you! Now my only question is will I have to do the grille swap before paint because the 79 headlight bezels go around the marker lights and the 73-74s do not? And a good source for used parts would be much appreciated as well!
