Re: help with universal joint depth on Chinese steering column
I just got one and installed from CPP. I was actually quite happy with it. The steering column was very tight. You can tighten up some slop in the gear box. It's the cent screw on top. I also used a stock intermediate shaft from a donor truck. I would suggest that first.

Re: help with universal joint depth on Chinese steering column
The original intermediate shaft had splines top and bottom. Slides right over the the CPP colum with splines.

Re: help with universal joint depth on Chinese steering column
Mine seems to be very tight, not sure what the warranty was.

Re: help with universal joint depth on Chinese steering column
I'm trying to figure out if my new steering column is junk or not does. Where the splines are on the shaft is it normal to beable to wiggle up and down?
