Also you made it sound as if you could not get them anywhere at all but in reality you just dont want to pay for them. Good luck. Let me know if you find a good place that gives away parts for next to nothing!!

well i wanted them asap so i didn't want to order from LMC cause it's in the states and would take a long time to get here.. and no, my dealer did everything they could for me to try to find them, called other dealer ships in the area, even GM headquarters in southern ontario.. can't get em.. must be different in the US, guess that's my only choice really, i'll just have to wait and pay the insane price for them..

If you'll wait until Monday, I'll check with the dealer and see if I can get them. If I can we'll figure out shipping and may save you a few bucks. Besides, I'd rather buy GM stuff over LMC. LMC's is more than likely from Taiwan. It could be GM also. If it is, I know for a fact I can get it cheaper from the dealer.

Thanks a lot Mike. They might be easier to get in the US for some reason but they're impossible to get up here in Canada. My dealer even called a bunch of other dealers and stuff and they couldn't find any. It's not that they didn't try.. they actually looked harder than i expected them to for me, but with no luck.. Once again though, thanks for looking for me. Gotta love help like that

Have you tried Chevy Duty? I bought a lower control arm shaft recently, it was GM.

I tell you what I have found out. When you buy parts from LMC and I guess other places as well, if they are GM products, you can buy them cheaper at the dealer if you can get them wholesale.
I bought a bunch of stuff from LMC once. Some of the higher priced pieces were GM parts. I called my local Chevy dealer where I always shop and found out I could buy them cheaper there. So, from now on, before I even think about buying from somewhere like this, I price it at the dealer first. There is a big difference in wholesale and list at the dealer. If you get to know the guys they will all give you wholesale price. I know they are making a bunch of money still, but it's better than paying list. |

I found them. My local dealer has them in stock. They come in a pack of 5. I can get them for $3.83 each. With tax added it comes to $20.49 for all 5.
PM me your address and we'll see what shipping will be. Oh, and if you want to try again to find them in Canada, the part number is 345970. They are listed as lower control arm pivot shaft bolts. Tell them to look in the old parts book, not the computer. If you need nuts and washers, you will need to buy at a hardware store. They don't list these. They are nothing special. 9/16-12 nuts and 9/16 washers. Mike |

Well, I was wrong.
You don't have to buy all 5. I was close by the dealer and stopped in and picked up 4. So now, the total is $16.39. Getting better all the time, ain't it? |
