Re: Anyone paint their rally wheels other than factory silver?
I'm really happy with the black gives it a semi modern look but retains the classic style that we like in the rally wheels

Here's mine. Went back and forth on the color, but white won out. It's growing on me.

Re: Anyone paint their rally wheels other than factory silver?
I did mine in a charcoal. I plan to paint my trim charcoal as well, after I paint the truck.

Re: Anyone paint their rally wheels other than factory silver?
Depends on the truck and the wheels
Rally wheels silver. Plain wheels white. Semigloss black is good. |

Yep, base of the center cap too. I have the very rare nine lug conversion. Owner, not dealer or factory installed HAHA

Re: Anyone paint their rally wheels other than factory silver?
In 1973, a guy in my reserve unit bought a new Cheyenne Super BB. The rallys were white from the factory.

Re: Anyone paint their rally wheels other than factory silver?
These are Wheel Vintiques Vette-style that I painted. Not the same rally wheel as I think you may have meant, but something else to look at. The same style of wheel is on my '69, but powder-coated.

I sprayed mine is a metallic pewter single stage.
Kinda silver but darker. Personally love it. Mark

I'm really excited about the new suggestions.
I never thought about pewter metallic! Anyone else have some new silvery colors?
