Anyone laying frame with 24's??? Trying to decide between 22" or 24" wheels

I'm trying to decide between 22" wheels or 24" wheels on my 62'... I know quite a few guys have done 22" laying frame but haven't seen any 24" wheels on 60-66 c-10's. Also any input on 22" or 24" would be great! Thanks in advance guys!!! Pics would be great also if any!!!

Tire diameter is what matters, not wheel diameter. There are tires in 24" that are the same height as the 22" tires being used on these trucks. Super thin sidewalls like a 275/25-24.

How wide are the wheels??? And what tire size you running tony??? Do you have any side pics of the truck and possibly aired up to see how it looks without wheels tucked???

Tires are too big! Front touches firewall rear won't let back go all the way down before the tire touches the top of the bed! 265-40-22 front 285-35-24 rear! I don't have the rear bag mount welded to the rearend yet to lift the rear!

Maybe a 255/30-24 but I think you would be better off with a 275/25-24. May also depend upon your front end setup, since a porterbuilt moves the suspension forward as well as up. So if you are doing a z or pancake crossmember, your wheels will be closer to the firewall.

Good point, I'm goin with porterbuilt though. Does porterbuilt ever do any sale prices or is everything always same price???

22x9.5 fronts 24x10 backs! Full Porterbuilt suspension with 1 inch narrowed control arms! I also have to narrow the rear end 1/2 inch on each side! Bed sides touch the wheels at full dump! Fun stuff!
