Brake Cylinder Question
Ok this might be a dumb question but are the wheel brake cylinders interchangeable from left to right side? My front brake hoses are too short when I crank the wheels all the way so I was just going to switch them around so the angle of the hose coming out of the cylinder would take the pressure off.

Re: Brake Cylinder Question
Go on RockAuto. See if they offer two different ones. Let us know so if someone has the same question, you've already answered it here.

Re: Brake Cylinder Question
Are you sure they are installed correctly? From the phot i would assume they had been swapped side to side.

Re: Brake Cylinder Question
When the hoses come in at an angle, there is a difference between left & right. The catalogs list them that way.

Re: Brake Cylinder Question
Yeah they're on correct. They said Front left and Front right on the boxes so I know they're right. I think they'll be ok- they don't pinch when I crank the wheel but they get kinda tight. I double checked my brake lines too thinking maybe I got the wrong ones but they were right too. I guess it's just going to be weird that way.
