My new to me Jimmy
I just got this, i have been on this forum for years but on the suburban end. It is an all original 91'. It has a 6" super lift and 35" BFGs. I paid to much but i love it. I am having a hard time finding replacement windshield washer nozzles. Also the passenger side power window motor is worn out, should i just replace the motor or the whole regulator? Everybody is always a lot of help here. Thank you.

That's a really good looking truck in a cool color combo. Check the current at the window motor and see how much current is getting to it. Seems like someone here fixed the problem by repairing or rebuilding the switch - you might not need a new motor.

Re: My new to me Jimmy
That is a nice one! And rare. Less than 3500 Jimmys were built, in both SLE and base models, in '91 for all markets.
Anyway, do both motor and regulator & be done with it. As for nozzle, trouble is it's part of the wiper arm and not a separate piece. I might have a pair but I'd need to look. Need both or just one? |

That is a clean rig. I bet you didn't pay too much for one that clean.

Re: My new to me Jimmy
Thank you all, and thanks for the information. I do have a line on one nozzle. The guy i bought it from said he has one that he is going to send me. So hopefully it will work out. I was also thinking i should just replace the entire regulator too. It also has a small rust hole just behind the rocker on the passenger side i need to address. Thanks for the support.

My truck had gone through a lot of continual transformation to become more reliable, and stock looking. I really like yours! I'm just up the road in Colorado Springs so let me know in you need any help. I've done a lot with mine to get it where it is now. Great looking truck. Now, how does it drive with that much lift and 35's? Any driveline vibration or did the previous owner handle the driveline properly? More pics!

Re: My new to me Jimmy
When i first bought it, it bounced all over the place. I got it in thorton and drove it back to pueblo. It felt like it wanted to jump all the cracks in the highway. I got it home and reduced the tire pressure from 35 to 28 psi, it was only riding on the center of the tire. I drove it 75-80 all the way back with no issues, no bad vibs and pretty decent mpg. The po said he replaced the u-joints. I have been really happy with it. I will get some more pick, the inside is the best part. Thanks.
