WTB - Under dash A/C system

I am looking for a Mark IV Roamer under dash A/C system like I had in my old truck in high school. I have included some pics of what I am looking for. I know most of the pics are in a 67-72, but I have seen them in 60-66's also so I thought I would post over here also. Let me know what you have. Thanks!

The one I had in high school would freeze your right knee after a while, of course it was charged with R-12 back then.

Yep! A good working underdash AC unit on R-12 is a knee freezer, for sure.

I have an old ac unit from my suburban. I might even have ac compressor, brackets, and condenser.

Re: WTB - Under dash A/C system

I don't think that one will work in a 67-72. The heater box drops quite a bit lower in the newer trucks which doesn't allow for the blower wheel to be anywhere except all the way on the passenger's side of the dash. Thanks for thinking of me though.

I know this is a year old thread but do you still need one of these? My son has one in his truck that he's looking to sell.

Re: WTB - Under dash A/C system

The unit looks like its in pretty good condition and the cab of this truck is in excellent original condition otherwise.

The decorative faceplate is yellowed a bit on the left side. It may be cleanable, we haven't tried anything beyond windex.
The truck didn't come with a compressor and condenser when we bought it. We have the in-cab unit, the drier bottle thingy ma-bob with the line that goes to the in-cab unit, and the line that goes from the in-cab unit to the compressor.

I have no idea what its worth so I am at your mercy. We live in a part of Idaho where we don't need AC so it doesn't make sense to put money into finding the other parts. My son needs to buy a rear bumper and mounts and is trying to drum up some coin for that. He's almost got his driver's license but doesn't have a job yet.
