My 71 Project...take a look..

Been working on her for almost a year. Replaced all the panels that were rusted through, repainted and distressed. Re-did the door art. Put on new front/rear bumpers(had farm bumper), new 67 mirrors, new door handles, added some spike nuts to the bumpers and made some spiked lug nuts to go with my theme. Just completed the front 5 1/2 drop with all new suspension parts and the rear 5 in drop and added 1" drop blocks to get a little lower, and the rest of the ECE kit. Stuck on my Chrome 15" steelies, 6"front and 10" rear with my MT Sportsman S/R radials.

Suspension is done, unless I go a little lower in front. Interior is 80%(pics later). Engine is a top end built 350, but being pulled next week to begin 383 stroker build.

Anyway, I enjoy the site and just wanted to share some pics while I am able to drive her.

Thanks

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Nice looking rig, where did you get your chrome bullet caps for the wheel centers? I'm looking for some but the ones I've found in the past just seem too big, yours look just right.

Vintiques has them but they're expensive. I ordered theirs and then found some on ebay that were the same. Vintiques lowered their price down enough where I just kept theirs.

They said the others might be plastic. I dont know but these are nice.

Thanks

Good to know, I'll check it out. I wish someone made spider caps that fit our trucks big wheel bearing hats.
