truck starts than dies
Having trouble with my truck went to start yesterday and it fires up but as soon as you let go of key it dies starter has to be constantly going for it to run. Where do i start i replaced the ignition switch no luck with that everything else appears to be fine no dissconected wires eveb ran fine the night before any help will be appreciated. Its a freshly rebuilt 350 that was running fine thw night before.

Is it points? If so you are getting power to the dizzy through the starter while cranking and the ballast resistor is not giving it the lower voltage for your run signal.

Nevermind stupid me i had the steering column dropped and it caught my ignition wire by the fuse block.
