my 1972 c20, opinons?

Hi everyone,

First post on this forum, happy to be here!

I've gotten a lot of info off this great resource of a forum!

I just bought my first classic chevy pickup, it's a 1972 C20. Very straight truck, no body work all original metal all around. Wood bed, original. Very tiny amount of rust on the rocker panels, but other wise no other rust. Numbers matching, original engine and transmission. 82,000 original miles. Interior is all original. Exterior was re-painted original color 4 years ago. Original build sheet in glove box.

Looking to see what everyone thinks.

Here are the pics!

it's not factory, it was sent out after it rolled off the line....it's a Clardy aftermarket air conditioner. They are a well know company out of Ft Worth, Texas. Not sure if they are still in business, but from what I've heard, they are well known.

Welcome aboard from NY! That's a great looking truck you've got there. Best of luck with it!

Very nice truck. Would much rather have 4 speed manual - but to each his own. It will give you great service if you plan to work it.

I like that aftermarket air setup - much more efficient and easier to maintain than the factory air. But, more than likely not dealer air by GM. I have two dealer air setups and the equipment is somewhat different - actually has GM logo. The non-dealer setups work as well, or maybe even better.
