anybody used a 60-66 front crossmember on a AD
Has anybody used a 60-66 cross member on an AD before?
I am not sure how much the track width varies between the two. Just thinking out loud. I have a parts truck available. |

That is a great article, I am surprised it has not been shared (that I know of) before. Don't tell the 60-67 guys....

This looks a lot like what the previous owner did to my '51 - from an '84 C10.
Seems with the disc brakes and the wider overall width, I can run 16" wheels with a 4 3/4" back spacing, With setting the ball joints IN an 1 1/2" both sides. I didn't want the dune buggy look. A while back there was a post explaining and showing how he to narrowed the A arms. (https://www.flickr.com/photos/neals4...7623637207305/) Still getting my nerve up :) Last edited by Donaldo; 06-03-2014 at 10:01 PM. |
