How low can I go???

Camaro clipped bagged (lux blue method) 58 can I lay the rockers with 27 inch tires or do I need drop spindles or worse more frame mods?? Please help and thanks in advance for your replies

I pulled the Camaro clip up in to the frame, level with the lower frame rail. I have 2600 bags, 2" spindles and 30" front tires and drop to spare. I could almost have used stock spindles. If you are going to run 27's, the clip under the frame is fine. It is a true PITA to make it work like mine is done. (But is Low)

I'd say put it together with the stock spindles check it out and see if it does what you want or not.

Yes, you saved a few hundred bucks on the dropped spindles.

No, pull the wallet out and fork over the money for the spindles and spend a couple of hours swapping spindles. I's only jack the truck up, take off the tire, pull the caliper and rotor off, remove the upper and lower ball joint nuts and the tie rod nut and out the old ones comes and reverse the process and in goes the new one. The only extra thing you are out is the time to swap them after the truck is together. Then it's off to the alignment shop.

I see too many guys want to run out and buy dropped spindles before they even get the truck together enough to know if they need them or not and to me it's a waste of money if you don't need them. That's money that can go into another part of the build.

I agree with mr48chev.
On paper, bags and full clip welded to the bottom should work for 27" tires.
One note, measure for your bag cups with your LCA fully collapsed. I even had to grind a little to get mine all the way up.
