jcueckert13- It is the stock color code 4508AA (508 ppg)- Dark Blue Poly! This blazer is going to be all original, except for the GM 350 instead of the original 307. I am also doing some different seat covers (black/blue houndstooth) and the seat backs and bedsides are going to be aluminum powder coated from interior blue fading down to black. Hope it looks good. We wanted to stay pretty stock, but my husband is a welder and a good one at that and he is doing the bedsides, seatbacks and a custom rollbar and maybe a few more little things.
BobbyK- what do you use to clean off the overspray? Also did you buy all new weatherstripping when you redid your blazer. We have the seals that go around the windows in the top and they look pretty new I just thought that we could soak them in "something" and get them a little more pliable and new looking...any ideas?? |

I bought all new weather stripping for the top from GMC Pauls. It all fit right.I laid the window gaskets and the other weather stripping in the sun for a while before installing it.This got it nice and pliable.
The overspray can be removed with laquer thinner and ALOT of rubbing.Be carefull with it though as it doesn't descriminate what paint it takes off. I went for the stock look as well.Other than my rear bumper ,tire carrier, and 33" tires it looks stock.
