Gauges

Finishing my LS build 48 5 window. Replacing gauges and speedo with Classic Instruments or Auto Meter quad gauge cluster and electronic speedo.

Does any one have any advise regarding either gauge set?

Re: Gauges

I installed Omega Kustom tan face 5" guages and am very pleased with them. Got them from Speedway Motors. I'm going to add the tach in the near future. Pic later.

Re: Gauges

Can't go wrong with Classic Instruments, very nice, high quality gauges.

I also think New Vintage makes a very nice set of gauges for 47-53 trucks for a little less money.

Re: Gauges

Speedometer will be the only concern with a interface to the ecm

Re: Gauges

Classic instruments hold a reputation for high quality and their line of gauges for AD trucks are great looking gauges that look like they belong in an AD truck. Auto meter also has a reputation for quality gauges and they are well known for being rugged as they are in a whole lot of serious race cars in all spectrums of racing. I like the looks of their speedometers for AD trucks myself.
