NY WTB OEM style 4 bbl. air cleaner housing

I've got a 350 sbc with a edelbrook 4 bbl. and high rise manifold- would like a stock looking air cleaner housing- I don't think I need/want the spacer but want to make engine look more stock- without swapping manifold and carb. Please PM me if you think you have one- not looking for perfect-or expensive...

Randy, Sounds good. Got any pictures? I don't think I need the spacer but I'd like to know the diameter of the hole in bottom piece just to make sure it fits my carb. Unless you already know it will fit my edelbrook 4bl. Appreciate the fast response to my thread.

This set up will work great for a 2 WD. The combination of the high rise with the spacer will not work in a 4 WD. It is too tall and because the engine is set closer to the firewall the assembly will hit the cowl. I had to section me spacer by 1.5". Good luck, Bruce

Randy, So you think the stock housing won't fit the Edelbrock too? If you don't know I think I'd take a chance on the hope that it will.. also I might be able to make it fit. Let me know your thoughts- Phil

Phil, if your Edel is like the holley it wont fit unless I find out the spacer will help it. I will try it Fri afternoon

I have a high rise and it hits so if you don't have a high rise I think it would fit with spacer

Randy, I do have a high rise- but does the space reduce or enlarge the opening to the air cleaner? I think if it reduces it(so that it fits the carb. I might be able to rig a filler ring... or maybe cut a larger opening if it enlarges-- what do you think?

the spacer is the same size I think, you could cut it down possibly , the air cleaner hits without out, but like a 2 inch spacer would be enough

I see.... the bottom of the air cleaner housing is concave... that complicates things-- Better i hold off and see what else I can find. Many thanks for all your time and effort. I may get back to you if I get desperate. Phil

I had a chevy astro van I think early 90's with fuel injection that had a shorter spacer than the trucks without a pcv outlet. it was the same diameter just shorter. It may work for you.
