Cab Rebuilding
Hi all, I am fixing to rebuiled a rusty 72 A/C cab. My question is my rusty cab is my VIN that matches my frame, have another cab that I will be using for patch parts, is there any places on these cabs that have the VIN hidden? Wanted to check and make sure I kept everything for my titled cab in the correct and legal spots.
Thanks Eddie |

Re: Cab Rebuilding
There should be a # found on the carb. Dont think it has anything to do with the actual VIN # though. Once you find the carb # check out mikescarburators for quality rebuild kits.

Re: Cab Rebuilding
The only cab VIN number you need to worry about is riveted to the driver's door post. Ideally that should stay with your final cab as well as the factory installed rivets.
