Cab Mounts... - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Can you replace Cab mounts without removing the Cab? Like just jacking it up enough to put new mounts in? Anyone done it?

I would think my rear cab mount is shot cause I'm getting a little sag and alot of movement from it when I drive...so any suggestions would be helpfull thanks

Yes you can swap the mounts without removing the cab. when I did mine, i worked 1 side at a time....the longhorn only has 4 mounts(steel tilt clip), but the same should work for your truck. Just loosen them all up a little, so you will have a little room to jack the cab up enough to slip the mounts out/in. good luck,crazyL
