Between frame gas tank for 3/4 ton, 36 or 3600?

Hi guys,

I'm toying with the idea of removing the in-cab gas tank on my '58 36 (3/4 ton, longbed) and replacing with a between the frame tank. The problem is none of the ready made tanks that I can find online will fit a 3/4 ton, they are all designed for 1/2 ton frames (not sure the size/dimension difference).

Has anyone done this with their 3/4? If so, what did you use? One of the guys at the local parts shop said he thought he heard of people using Mustang or Impala tanks, but he couldn't recall for sure.... If all else fails I can get something custom fabbed up, just would rather use an 'off the shelf' part if possible. Thanks all!
