This is a set of lowering brackets for 1973 thru 1987 Chevrolet and GMC 1/2 ton truck, Suburban and full size Jimmy and Blazer. These brackets relocate the axle on top of the leaf springs, lowering the rear of your ride approx 5 inches. Quick, simple and inexpensive way to get down. New, $39.00 shipped for the pair. You put these on top of the leaf spring with the open end up. You then sit the axle in the open saddle. You reuse the original u bolts and mounting plate. Pretty simple. Thanks, Fred.

got my brackets in last wk. an got them installed before wkend for car show. cant thank you enough Fred. i originally had drop hangers & shackles. now Fred flip brackets an drop hanger an stock shackle. here some pix

Do you have to c-notch the frame? Or just take off the bump stops?

None of my guys have had to c notch. You may want to trim the bumps,, not remove. Thanks, Fred.

We have never done a blazer ourselves. I have sold a few sets to people that owned Blazers but never heard about trimming a floor brace. Thanks, Fred.
