Dropmember setup and complete rear

Is porterbuilt build time on these dropmembers and rear setup a longer wait in summer than during winter months. I ordered the complete front and rear setup and Dave told me 10-12 weeks is that a normal wait time? Just asking not in a hurry for a great product. Just asking for scheduling other things while I'm waiting.

I think that is normal right now.
They are swamped with business!
And well worth the wait,...

Re: Dropmember setup and complete rear

yeah pretty normal I would say... I bought the frame brace and cross members and it was about 9-10 weeks I think...
But the product is well worth it... looks very nice with great craftsmanship

Re: Dropmember setup and complete rear

That's what I was thinking. Glad it kinda gives me time to work on the body while I'm waiting.

Re: Dropmember setup and complete rear

The 10-12 week wait is normal. Once you get your kit you will be very pleased. I can see why it takes the amount of time. With a complete kit there is a lot if fab work that goes into it and the work is impeccable. Be patient and it is well worth the wait.

Talking Re: Dropmember setup and complete rear

Thanks. It's all good I have plenty to do and get in the time frame. I know it will all be worth it when it gets here. I've been looking forward to doing this setup for a long time.

Re: Dropmember setup and complete rear

It takes time to build things right and they won't send out anything unless its prefect.Look at every dropmember you can online you won't find a bad weld or any fitment problems.

I would hate to get rear-ended with the 2 battery's and gas tank there.

Re: Dropmember setup and complete rear

I don't think it would be a good day to get rear ended, but man does it look good and clean.you all have some nice frames. For some reason I'd much rather look at people's frames and undercarriage, the way I look at it is" if it's that nice on the bottom side even with a rusted out body, when that body gets done it's gonna be as nice or nicer than the frame." Kinda backwards way of looking at it.
