That first truck with the Toyota motor is a very interesting swap, has the cluster, ac/heat and the column. That is the idea of using what you have...but I wonder how much work that was opposed to throwing an LS motor in there?

Don't discount that 4.7 too quickly. Do the research pirate4x4.com etc. I was involved with a swap on a buddy's crawler truggy and that motor get it! They also run foreeeeeeever.

I'm usually not a big fan of modern drive trains in old vehicles, but with that and the dash I think it's pretty cool. The HVAC and the column is a bit too far. But hey, its all a matter of opinion.

I used to have an access cab '01 Tundra with that motor. It did have some power but got lousy gas mileage.
