Brake HELP

So I'm totally lost on how to fix this. i installed a wilwood big brake kit on my 1972 swb c10. kit looks good and thats about all its doing right now. i have been unable in all attempts to get the parking brake to engage. If any one has used these kits before please let me know what you used/ did to get the parking brake to work. i have installed 140-10093-D and 140-10775-D for the front and rear and used the wilwood parking brake/e-brake cable kit 330-9371. anyone who can help me please tell me what you can.

I would -imagine- that you start with the adjusters all the way in, then get the cable as tight as you can, then back the adjusters out until you feel some drag, then back in a turn or two. But that's just a guess.

I hang around a shop that has had to fix a number of cars with Wilwood setups that contain a lot of aluminum; things get hot and then expand and then start to drag, that kind of thing. I'm not saying it's specific to Wilwood, though.

One thing I -have- read specific to Wilwood is that if you set the parking brake when the rotor is HOT and leave the car the rotor will contract as it cools and your parking brake loosens. That'd be bad on a hill.

Yeah I've followed that pretty much to the letter so it's kinda frustruting that it's not working right.
