What's wrong? Engine problems?
I have a 1971 c20 350/350 and my truck seems weak. I don't know a lot about this stuff but my truck won't spin the tires. Even if I use the breaks it won't. And thanks for reading. Any help is appreciated. Also just changed fuel filters points plugs and plug wires

Re: What's wrong? Engine problems?
Welcome to the site how is the timing? Do you have a light to check it from or know someone that does? Either way you may want to try to advance the timing some to see if that wakes up the sleepy motor. Jim

Re: What's wrong? Engine problems?
I think I'll take it to a shop and have them look it over and check everything over. But It probably needs timing. Thanks

The shop will set it at factory specs.
Tell them you want it at 12 degrees btdc. |

Re: What's wrong? Engine problems?
Timing usually wakes these motors up TREMENDOUSLY. Mine was set at 4* BTDC, I was in the same boat as you mine wouldn't spin the tires. Right now mine's at 14* BTDC, huge difference from before, even with the crappy intake I've got on it.
