Big truck salvage yards on west coast? Looking for J13/J14 rear end.

There appears to be a MASSIVE salvage effort hosted online by C&H truck parts, that looks like just by sheer volume of 67-72 trucks, they would almost HAVE to have some of the "rare" parts I'm looking for. Unfortunately they are in Nebraska and I'm here in California.


Would anyone know of any good salvage yards that would have some/any of these big trucks lying around to be picked off of?
I'm looking for the higher geared 15-17,000lbs. rear end that has 4.86/6.61 rear gears(RPO code J13 and J14).

But it seems like this kind of rear end would probably be somewhat rare. ...Unless I'm in a salvage yard with 30 of these trucks....then I would bet at least one of them would have it.

Some what humble place but they seem to have plenty of stuff kicking around and the guy that runs it knows his stuff pretty well.

most any reputable salvage yards now a days has connections with others around the country. My suggestion is to call one you know of and ask. cant hurt!
