Electirc Choke help
I have question.. After repairing and cleaning up my wiring. I found a wire that wasnt hooked to anything. traced the wire.. well it for my electric choke on my carb. I assume this wire is to have 12v at ign on/run ?? would if matter where I get my 12v from.. I was just going to run a new wire to fuse panel. Hopefully this is the issues of my truck bogging down on accel. Thanks in advance !!

Yes. The choke wire needs to come on with the switch. You can hook in in the fuse panel but it needs to be fused.

You could tap power from the choke but the heating element draws a lot and will drop the voltage to the coil wire unless it is sized up accordingly.
