Overheating
I got my stock Airconditioning working. But that has led me to another problem. While at idle and the ac is on my engine will heat up. I got a after market radiator 4 row, good upper and lower hose's, good water pump. My engine cooling fan is all the way enclosed by the fan shroud? Shouldn't the fan be partialy exposed? Could it be the fan clutch?

What thermostat you running? 160, 180?

I would get a heavy duty fan clutch, and yes they do go bad. I set the fan with about 1/3 sticking out.

Maybe pop open the radiator cap and see if you have water flow at idle? If not it could be a bad water pump.

I was having a similar(not the same) issue except I don't have AC. Temp wouldn't drop below 190. Did a little research and found out a lot of useful info regarding cooling. I ordered new water pump and larger electric fans in the hopes it will end my frustration. Sounds like you are on the right track with the fan clutch, good luck and let us know if it solves your issue!

Fan clutch fixed the problem. My old one was leaking the silicone fluid out of it. Plus the shaft on the new one was shorter so it moved my fan back. I think that helped to.
