JBWeld on brass?
It's actually SteelStik, but same idea. In this case its a two-part putty you combine and it hardens to some weird machinable metal.
Anyway, I apparently have a pinhole leak on the neck of my brand new LMC radiator, which is probably our of warranty since it's been more than a year anyway. That's the problem with long builds... So I used some of the putty, but when removing the paint it reminded me that I was working with brass. Anyone know if I should expect it to work and hold? Thanks, Dave

Re: JBWeld on brass?
I have done it and it works. It always seems to eventually fail though. On a build as good as yours, I am of the opinion that you should fix it right (solder).

Re: J B Weld on brass?
JMHO, but I would rather use a band aid to fix metal than J.B. Weld (N.O. Held). That JUNK has NEVER held anything I ever repaired with it, including a hole in the plastic radiator on my old S10. Might as well use bubble gum because it will hold better. But seriously, I would take it to a welding shop and have them braze the hole over with melted brass.

Re: JBWeld on brass?
Clean it like a surgeon and solder it. Paint and call it good.
