Stainless braided fuel lines

I am running an aeromotive A1000 fuel pump in an under the bed tank and boost referenced pressure regulator. I will be running this fuel system to power my super charged 6.0. When I called aeromotive they suggested that I run 1/2 inch stainless fuel line and -.08 an fittings. Does anyone have a suggestion of what brand I should order or is there anything in particular that I should be looking for?

I am running a similar setup as is HartRod (I am not supercharged quite yet, he is)
I ended up using PTFE Braided line with 10-AN feed from pump to filter and filter to Y... then 8-AN from Y to Rails and rails to FPR and then return to tank
Aeromotive recommended that I used stainless braided line (8-AN for all runs) when I called them as well... I talked to Rob and agreed with his setup a little more of running a 10-AN feed... don't ever want to starve fuel wise...
I ordered Fragola line and -AN hose ends from summit and price matched Amazon (which saved me about $50)
I have in tank A1000, Aeromotive filter, Aeromotive fittings adapters, Aeromotive Y block, and Aeromotive FPR... All of which have 10-AN ports except the return from FPR which is 6-AN...
The PTFE hose is Teflon and resists fuel seeping that is seen with rubber lines... Make sure you order line and hose ends from same company as there seems to be some differences in OD from company to company...
PTFE is more $$$ but in theory should last forever... only down side is it is not super bendable... There is a more bendable PTFE which is made by Goodridge, Series 811(Raw stainless) or 910(Black) I am planning to use this for my Y to Rails and rails to FPR as it is super pricey...

Oh and if you go the PTFE route... Make sure to get Automotive PTFE which is inner hose is usually grey and black in color... the white inner hose is industrial and much cheaper BUT the Automotive hose has Cabon added to the Teflon and provides conductivity and grounds all line and fittings to the vehicle as the non carbon hose could actually build a Static charge while the fuel is running through it... Static charge and fuel sounds like a horrible combo..

I apologize they did recommend braided line for me also...and would you happen to have any pictures of your setup? And yes that does help...I will be coming home from Saudi in just over a month and reading about your setup points me in the direction of what I need to order...

HartRod prob does... I just started the actual plumbing process in the last couple weeks... and my truck is still basically a rolling frame so I haven't been real excited to start cutting some expensive azz hose until I am 100% sure things are where they need to be...

But more than happy to share my research as far and lines etc...

You are feeding your rails individually? I'll be running the stock fuel rail from a ZL1 so I don't think I'll need the Y.

i used all aeromotive stuff..fuel cell, regulator, filter etc...i used 6 an line but i went with summit fittings and i was impressed they are cheaper then earls and look nice...I didnt have one leak either. Check my build thread.

Does the stock ZL1 rail have a return? Rails are not that much... might be worth the upgrade to Holley or something similar...

Summit stuff is about half price but they don't carry a 10-AN hose only up to 8... that is the reason I went to Fragola... next cheapest

The ZL1 rail is returnless, and I've been trying to find out what after market rails will work with the ZL1 supercharger, but so far I haven't come across anything definitive yet.

you might give a Holley a call I like the look of their rails the best... but that's just me...

With returnless your plumbing will be different... I think you go from pump to a corvette style filter regulator that has the return built in and then one line to the rail.
