Clifford Exhaust Mani Install
I bought a Clifford exhaust manifold (http://www.cliffordperformance.net/M...gory_Code=C250 ) for my 66 C10 (250 i6). Will it install correctly with my original intake? Or do I need to wait until I get a new intake?
Thanks guys! |

Re: Clifford Exhaust Mani Install
You will need an aftermarket intake to run the headers.

Re: Clifford Exhaust Mani Install
You can use the stock intake manifold if you can find a way to water heat it...I believe Langdons Stovebolt.com makes a water heating plate for the 1 barrel intake manifold..if not..its for the offenhouser. What are you doing to the engine? Are you doing head work? And thing to the bottom end? I can give you a ton of info if I know what you want...the type of carb you use is fairly critical pending on what you do. Pm me or let me know.

Re: Clifford Exhaust Mani Install
Thanks guys! I am looking to upgrade the intake and exhaust manifold to get full dual exhaust. Looking to upgrade the horse a little bit, but I want it to sound good. I have the manifold and was hoping that I could install it now instead of waiting until I determine the exact set-up I want on the intake and carb.

Re: Clifford Exhaust Mani Install
the only thing you will have to do is grind the little acorn fasteners that hold the intake and exhaust together. this is because the thickness of intake and exhaust are different thicknes or you can grind the manifold or exhaust down to match. i never had manifold heat on my 250 and it ran fine. edelbrock manifold and 390 holley carb. but i live in cali.
