Hello guys,
I recently acquired my dads old 69 C 10. The truck has a lot of history and needs a lot of attention. My dad purchased the truck brand new in 1968 and kept it until his death last week. The paint is pretty close to factory colors but he has put on the west coast mirrors and heavy duty bumpers and mud flaps. He mainly used it to pull his camper and to haul trash to the dump. The truck is on its 3rd or 4th motor due to his hot rodding days. Today it has 350 with factory 3 speed on column. I am enjoying the forum and getting lots of ideas and advice from the reading. My goal is to keep it close to factory and just improve the mechanical and paint but keep it pretty much dads truck. |

Awesome truck, love the paint scheme. I think the truck is a 68 though, at least has a 68 clip on it

Welcome also, and sorry for your dads passing, I also received my dads truck that he bought new, and restored almost like he had it. I like to see more pictures when you have time to add some. It looks like its a nice truck.
