how much is it worth II?

Alright I asked this question about a month ago but I have more info now. The truck in question is a 67 shortbed. I looked up the vin and it is a 67 original v8 made in st. louis. I live in springfield about 3 hours away so it is a local truck. Anyway it has original a/c and is a shortbed. I was wondering if anyone knew how many were made with a/c or if anyone had the specs they'd share with me. The guy (my dad's friend) said he'd let me pay for it over the period of 3 months. He is asking $1500 and it has a trans but no motor. It has a thick strip of chrome running along the bottom and there is very little if any rust and no dents. So would you guys buy it? Thanks!

Looking around this board, the parts are worth that much. and in our part of the country rust free is gold.

I didn't get the truck. My dad's friend was the guy setting the deal up. He has had it in his yard for a couple of years and wanted it gone it gets really complicated. Anyway my dad's "friend" said the guy would definately sell it and for me to go get a loan. So I went and got a loan and then the guy didnt want to sell it. Well of course I felt like an idiot because I had a loan for a truck that wasnt for sell. But my banker is a cool guy he understood. So now I am hunting for another 67, 68, or maybe a Chevelle.... Thanks!

As you all know I have been hunting for something to put my big block in. Well I found a 55 Chevy 4 door wagon that is pretty neat. He has the original front bench that was in it but he has buckets in it right now. It is an original V8 car which I am sure is pretty rare for 55. It is in all primer and has a little rust above the headlight. Is there anywhere else they are prone to rust? He is asking $2500 but I am going to let him have the motor/trans and offer him $1800. Maybe $1500 start low then go up you know how it works. I know it is off-topic but you guys seem to know everything. Thanks! Also is it very hard to get a big block to fit in one of these cars? Thanks again.

Well, here's my .02. If what you really want is a 67 truck, then don't settle for anything else. However, a 55 wagon will easily take a BB, and would be way cool
