Hi guys I have a 70 C/10 with 373 gears I want to put 308 gears in it. Do I need to change the carrier too? and were can I find one?

3.42 is the dividing line on carriers. 3.07 is a 3 series and 3.73 is a 4 series.

The small carrier is for ratios between 2.76 and 3.42. the large carrier is for ratios 3.73 and up so, yes, you will need to change carriers. You can get a new Eaton posi center from Drive Train Specialists for about $425.00. A good buy as a new open is about $325.00.
