You say your truck is tubbed.....rear tire size will play a part...What size tire? My first option would be T350 given your requirements...but if you want an overdrive 200R4/700R4...but how much "big block" do you have?

I plan to have a 600-700 HP motor in mine when I get finished (in say 5 years, maybe more). If I can find a manual gearbox with overdrive, like a built T-56, I'll Take it, but otherwise the trans I'll probably get is HERE . It's a 4L80E with full manual shifts, needs no computer. It's a little pricey at about $2800, but it can handle over 800 HP, so to me it would be worth it.

Brad, if you are looking to go auto trans, I would go 400 turbo with a Gear vendors on the back. This route will be a little more pricey than the 700r4 or the 2004r.......but not near as "finnicky". IMO, you wont notice the extra power it take to run the 400 t when you have a BB infront of it, & a good stock build on a 400 with shift kit will take plenty of guff Personally, i like driving a stick, so i went Richmond ROD. Good luck, crazyL
